Groups and meet ups

At St Barnabas we love to open our church building to the community and welcome people to fine rest, refreshment and good company. In a life of chaos and busyness it's good to find a space where you can pause to relax.

Barney's

A drop in cafe on a Wednesday morning 9am - 12pm, for all ages (10am - 12pm in school holidays). It's a 'coffee morning' style with toys for the children and lots of cake, tea, coffee and cold drinks. A perfect meeting place for families, friends, neighbors - of all ages.
We will provide a welcoming and relaxing space to meet and chat and play, with cheap, good quality and yummy refreshments. We also have newspapers and therapeutic coloring sheets for grown ups too!  We are even open throughout the school holidays.

Mondays 9 -11 am in term time in the church.
Our new group is turning out to be enormous fun, with plenty of tea and hot toast to go round.  We have a brilliant range of toys and books as well and we are also just starting a free 'clothes bank'.  Take a look at recent pictures on Busy Bee's Facebook page:
