At St Barnabas we have a mixed congregation and support a range of worship styles from traditional and contemplative, to vibrant family friendly services, with times varying throughout the month.
Common worship communion
9.30 am Parish Communion (1st, 3rd and 5th where applicable, Sundays of the month) - This is a common worship communion service with hymns and is followed by coffee. We now offer a 'Kids church' where the children will go and have more age appropriate teaching whilst the main sermon and prayers are taking place. They will then join us for communion.
All age worship
10.30 am Family friendly service (2nd and 4th Sundays of the month) - This is a less formal, energetic service, with a live worship band and engaging bible teaching suitable for all ages. It is followed by coffee, cake and an opportunity for discussion.
10.00 am Holy Communion - A quiet, contemplative common worship communion service. The third Thursday of the month is a corporate Mother’s Union service and is followed by coffee.
